Marlins fans share his sentiments. Without all the cash, though.

“I have no sad feelings whatsoever,” Loria said. “I love this game.”

I'm sure Montreal fans wish he'd gotten out of the game years ago..

“I have no sad feelings whatsoever,” Loria said. “I love this game. pulling a billion dollars into my pocket.”

Hombre, I think "putting a billion dollars into his pocket" is the exact game he was talking about.

Well yeah, don't you have to have a soul to have feelings?

Ha. He's got a billion of cash, I bet he has no regrets.

Could you imagine any fan caring about Jeffrey Loria's feelings? I don't know them, but it wouldn't shock me if his mother doesn't care about Loria's feelings.

...it wouldn't shock me if his mother doesn't care about Loria's feelings.

Ruth Loria died in 1980.

That makes it a tough to know how much she cares about Jeffrey's feelings.

I didn't want to leave this important question unresolved, because this is a discussion board, and shrugging and saying "Who knows?", although probably the best answer in a lot of cases, doesn't lead to very much discussion.

I went and did some research. Quora always has lots of good information on it, so I looked on there, and sure enough, the question, "Do you still feel pain, think, or can you do anything after you're said to be dead?" was there. Unfortunately, it only had one answer, and I was hoping for more of a "wisdom of crowds" sort of dealie, but what can you do? You would think that more people would have an opinion on a question like that, seeing that everybody dies sometime...and on the internet, people post millions of answers to stupid questions like, "Should bakers be forced to make cakes for gays?" which aren't likely to come up even once in most people's lives. Hasn't come up in my life, and I'm a baker! So to see such a low number of answers was off-putting.

Anyway, "Do you still feel pain, think, or can you do anything after you're said to be dead?"...according to Meghdoot Dadegaonkar, the answer is "No". He seems pretty sure, but I thought I'd look into more of his answers, just to gauge his credibility. Unfortunately, as a "confirmed atheist" (are there any other kind?), he gravitates to answering questions that are hard to confirm. Like, "How will you describe god in the minimum words?". He answered, "Nonexistent", and then ####### about how Quora wouldn't accept such a short answer.

And then there was the question, "Do atheists want to be proved wrong? Is this why they keep trying to prove theists wrong?" and all he does is ##### about the ban on the sale or consumption of beef in Maharashtra. I don't think he lives in Maharashtra, he lives in Hyderabad, and if my knowledge of Indian Geography isn't letting me down, Hyderabad is in Telangana, so maybe he should just butt out of the burger and steak situation in another state.

And then there was the question, "What books should one read to feel alive?". And he said Atlas Shrugged. I've tried to read that, it made me puke! Which, indeed, is part of being alive (all bodily fluids are), but I'm pretty sure that wasn't what the original question was searching for.

So, let's just leave it at that. According to one dude anyway, Ruth doesn't care about Jeffrey's feelings.

I read this as "Evan Longoria's dog doesn't like him" and was wondering about the segue.

My knowledge of Hyderabad had it squarely in Andhra Pradesh, but TIL the new (old) state of Telangana split off from Andhra Pradesh in 2014. So thanks for that!

"And how much can I soak the rest of the league for in order to run it? It'd better be a whole lot. Need to pump up those financials so I can alienate the fanbase without hesitation and cash out."

Losers: "HAW HAW SCREW THE YANKEES TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN YOU MAGNIFICENT BASTARD!"
