Jeffrey Loria has ‘no sad feelings whatsoever’ about selling the Marlins - Sun Sentinel

Marlins fans share his sentiments. Without all the cash, though.

Could you imagine any fan caring about Jeffrey Loria's feelings? I don't know them, but it wouldn't shock me if his mother doesn't care about Loria's feelings.

Ruth Loria died in 1980.

That makes it a tough to know how much she cares about Jeffrey's feelings.

I didn't want to leave this important question unresolved, because this is a discussion board, and shrugging and saying "Who knows?", although probably the best answer in a lot of cases, doesn't lead to very much discussion.

I went and did some research. Quora always has lots of good information on it, so I looked on there, and sure enough, the question, "Do you still feel pain, think, or can you do anything after you're said to be dead?" was there. Unfortunately, it only had one answer, and I was hoping for more of a "wisdom of crowds" sort of dealie, but what can you do? You would think that more people would have an opinion on a question like that, seeing that everybody dies sometime...and on the internet, people post millions of answers to stupid questions like, "Should bakers be forced to make cakes for gays?" which aren't likely to come up even once in most people's lives. Hasn't come up in my life, and I'm a baker! So to see such a low number of answers was off-putting.

Anyway, "Do you still feel pain, think, or can you do anything after you're said to be dead?"...according to Meghdoot Dadegaonkar, the answer is "No". He seems pretty sure, but I thought I'd look into more of his answers, just to gauge his credibility. Unfortunately, as a "confirmed atheist" (are there any other kind?), he gravitates to answering questions that are hard to confirm. Like, "How will you describe god in the minimum words?". He answered, "Nonexistent", and then ####### about how Quora wouldn't accept such a short answer.

And then there was the question, "Do atheists want to be proved wrong? Is this why they keep trying to prove theists wrong?" and all he does is ##### about the ban on the sale or consumption of beef in Maharashtra. I don't think he lives in Maharashtra, he lives in Hyderabad, and if my knowledge of Indian Geography isn't letting me down, Hyderabad is in Telangana, so maybe he should just butt out of the burger and steak situation in another state.

And then there was the question, "What books should one read to feel alive?". And he said Atlas Shrugged. I've tried to read that, it made me puke! Which, indeed, is part of being alive (all bodily fluids are), but I'm pretty sure that wasn't what the original question was searching for.

So, let's just leave it at that. According to one dude anyway, Ruth doesn't care about Jeffrey's feelings.

My knowledge of Hyderabad had it squarely in Andhra Pradesh, but TIL the new (old) state of Telangana split off from Andhra Pradesh in 2014. So thanks for that!
