I haven't actually read TFA yet, but to borrow from Uma Thurman in Beautiful Girls, "You Stat Nerds take MVP voting too seriously".

Since this is either the 14th or the 24th column about the AL MVP vote, I think you may be onto something.

Unfortunately, some BBWAA voters don't take the voting serious enough.
