1. Rough CarriganFormer head writer of Saturday Night Live, hosted that show's Weekend Update segment for years, now has the show that's on after the Tonight Show on NBC.
In terms of timeslot, yes. It is yet to be seen if he's going to be a groundbreaking comedy genius in late night.
And for those that don't know Seth Myers - he did SNL Weekend Update with Amy Poehler for a bit, too. He was the head writer for 9 years I think. He's a smart guy and I like him, but his show has thus far been "meh"......
But this Keri interview makes up for a lot of that....
You clearly don't watch Craig Ferguson.
He's the host of the Late Night with Seth Myers, obviously.
It's just a really small chair.
Some of these late night guys last forever so Colbert or Fallon might still be the Letterman of the 2020's. Colbert will be about the age Letterman is now in about 2030, Fallon in about 2040. Fallon is younger than Myers, so Myers might need to be more like Conan where he takes a different path if he wants a better time slot.
