That was very nice. I haven't seen Seth Myers' show yet. He seems to be having a bit of an actual conversation with a guest. That's unusual.

Cute interview. Now, if someone can tell me whoodafuck Seth Myers IS, I'd be grateful.

Former head writer of Saturday Night Live, hosted that show's Weekend Update segment for years, now has the show that's on after the Tonight Show on NBC.

He replaced Fallon when Fallon replaced Leno.

so he's the David Letterman of the 2020's
   6. Sean Forman Posted: April 24, 2014 at 12:00 AM (#4692887)
He was also very very briefly one of the guys on Fire Joe Morgan.

In terms of timeslot, yes. It is yet to be seen if he's going to be a groundbreaking comedy genius in late night.

So cool!

And for those that don't know Seth Myers - he did SNL Weekend Update with Amy Poehler for a bit, too. He was the head writer for 9 years I think. He's a smart guy and I like him, but his show has thus far been "meh"......

But this Keri interview makes up for a lot of that....

You clearly don't watch Craig Ferguson.

He's the host of the Late Night with Seth Myers, obviously.

I've watch probably a third of the shows so far, and that Keri interview was BY FAR the best interview I've seen Meyers do. He usually has a much more detached, flat style of interviewing. You could tell this was something he was actually interested in, and when he sets Keri up for the pitch for TIm Raines, Jonah's excitement/passion/rage was about the best thing I've seen on a show like this.

I've never seen Keri before, he looks and talks a bit like Jackson the vegetable farmer from Gilmore Girls.

Keri looks squished into that actor sized chair.

Meyers was on "Fresh Air" the other day and came off as personable and genuine. So he's a baseball fan; who does he root for? (I'm guessing it's either the Yanks, Mets, Bosox or Cubs, as those seem to be the favorites of eastern-based entertainment folk.)

It's just a really small chair.

Some of these late night guys last forever so Colbert or Fallon might still be the Letterman of the 2020's. Colbert will be about the age Letterman is now in about 2030, Fallon in about 2040. Fallon is younger than Myers, so Myers might need to be more like Conan where he takes a different path if he wants a better time slot.
