Jose Canseco & Steve Garvey Live from SuperZoo Las Vegas on Animal Radio

“Popeye” Garvey: Hittin’ Woo at the Zoo.

Jose Canseco currently has a 130-pound Great Dane/Weimaraner mix named Bruce, which his daughter named after “Bruce Almighty.” When Animal Radio® host Hal Abrams asked if Bruce sleeps in the bed with him, Jose states that, “Bruce is very spoiled and he has a big air mattress beside my bed, but he jumps on my bed all of the time. Then I kick the girl out that I’m with and she gets pissed off!”

Steve Garvey has owned several dogs over the years, and now has a 140-pound rescued Rottweiler named Spartacus. Steve has seven kids, and all but two are gone. In fact, one of his sons just signed with the Rockies. With most of his children gone, Steve states that, “Spartacus has taken the place of a few of the humans.”

They'd have gotten Pete Rose too, but the only dogs he cares about are the ones at the track.

every Dog I've ever had got his/her own Dog bed and was/is never EVER allowed to get on the furniture. i wouldn't nevah let a God get in/on the bed even if i WASN'T married. i mean, even barry lamar Dog wasn't allowed in my bed BEFORE i got with Husband. it's not like i ever mistook the Dog for the real thing you know.

and it's just like canseco to kick some idiot female out of bed so as he can sleep with a doggier Dog

garvey has only 7 kids??? i thought he was one of those 19 and counting people only with more money

When I first saw the headline, I read the "live" with a short i. Though slightly incoherent, it still seemed plausible.

I'm sure pending litigation means the number is just "as we went go to press..." 7 kids.

I bet both of these guys have gotten diseases that would scare the crap out of penicillin.

And I thought that five of Garvey's seven kids had died, which also seemed plausible.
