Judge denies SJ claims of anti-trust against MLB

AN JOSE—A federal judge Friday dismissed San Jose’s antitrust claims against Major League Baseball over the Oakland A’s stalled relocation plan but allowed the city to pursue a contract interference case.

No doubt MLB "investigators" reached the judge before this verdict was delivered.

well since District Court Judges have no business ruling directly contrary to relevent US Supreme Court precedent this was a foregone conclusion

Edit: I should note that the district court judge indicated his belief that those SCOTUS decisions were wrongly decided (which is what almost everyone who reads them says, well except for DMN who defines commerce differently/more narrowly than anyone else)

Even SCOTUS says the decision line since the original case was wrongly decided. Don't let anyone tell you the secular can't be sacralized--and this includes both Baseball and Supreme Court decisions.
