Excellent article. Still digesting everything it says, and wonder how much of it is true in how different are organizational philosophy across the league. Do other teams not maximize the bullpen coach? Scouting etc?

Dave Duncan Way: 1) Two-seam fastball. 2) Everything low (pitch to contact). Not that complicated. - Brock Hanke

The article goes more in depth talking about the scouting and how they increased the responsibility of the bullpen coach in comparison to other organizations (no clue if that is true, but historically people always talked like the bench coach and bullpen coaches job have been pretty cushy, and this implies that all the coaches on the team have a pretty heavy workload)
