The Jose Loboton Era begins in Flushing.

God help us all.

It's random prospect magic time.

Tim Tebow for Wilson Ramos. Right now.

Who says no?

Who says no?
The Lord.

Kind of feels like if you're gonna trade Tebow for a spare catcher, it ought to be Jesus Sucre...

Has anyone seen Omir Santos?

I think he was here earlier, but he left like an hour ago with some girl.

I didn't realize Travis d'Arnaud needed Tommy John surgery. There's a guy who would probably like a do-over on his career.

What the hell did he do that for?!

Bring me the head of JT Realmuto.

(Also, I assume the rest of him comes with the head.)

Lobaton TRIPLES in his first AB as a Met because of course he did.

hey, he had 3 triples in 1229 previous career PA, so he has wheels.

Frazier also had just hit his first Mets HR. CitiField crowd mainly delirious because it was almost 80 degrees today, but the 10-1 thing also is fun.

#5 is really good.

Game theory ... if you don't break your hand every once in a while, your opponents will know you're never going to and take advantage of that.

11-1 makes losing d'Arnaud and Plawecki in the same week sting a bit less, but this is still a rough spot for them to be in. Plawecki will be back in a few weeks, so I guess they can roll with Lobaton & Nido in the interim. I'm ok with Plawecki as the #1 catcher for the rest of the year. Not ideal but the gap between d'Arnaud and Lobaton isn't going to be what keeps this team from the playoffs.

I assume the Purdue connection had something to do with it? Only major sport where one of our current or former players had not suffered a notable injury at some point in the last six months....
