I thought NFL owners were forbidden from owning franchises in other sports?
Kroenke also owns Arsenal and the Glazer family owns the Buccaneers and Manchester United, so no.
Edit: According to Wiki, Kroenke also owns the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rapids, and Colorado Mammoth(National Lacrosse League, yeah I've never heard of that before either).
Also, apparently Kroenke skirts the NFL's rule by having the Colorado teams in his son's name and I guess the NFL's rule doesn't apply to owning teams outside the US.
Kroenke is going to sell the Rams to LA owners who will relocate the team.
NFL owners are not supposed to own other American sports teams. Kroenke had to give up his majority stake in the Avalanche and Nuggets to his son to own the Rams.
It's another sport in America. He can always "sell" the Rams to a wife or kid to get around that. That's what he did to the Nuggets and Avalanche.
