The ESPN radio guys I listened to in the car coming home said that they had "fixed" Valverde's mechanical problems in a side session and he is all better now, so he will see the mound tonight. So relax, Tigers fans!! Happy days!!!11!!1
Jered Weaver was quite prophetic.
Why does that happen, anyway? I mean, it can't take that long for the nerves to transmit the data since I can feel other things on my foot basically instantly.

I was in the car for that, too. They said that the only runs given up were by Valverde. But that he was fixed now. It was hilarious. They were stating it like it was a fact. Like he was a car or something that was broken and they just fixed him and now he was fine.
He'll be back out for the 9th.
Complete opposite of the debate.
"Never tell me the odds!"
no-brainer. he's throwing easy and the yankees couldn't score in a whorehouse with a fistful of fifties
Yeah, I don't know. Maybe it has something to do with the shot of adrenaline that goes with the pain/fear reaction, although that doesn't explain why injuries to the upper body don't have the same effect.
Maybe the debates should be framed as baseball playoff serieseseses???
That was similar to the play gardner got hurt on in april.
shoot son, that line is older than me..........
What is it if you take out the second and ninth inning of Game 1?
what was the team batting average in 1963 when sandy and don punked them? wasn't it worse?
They had words back then???
He's a home town guy
I think that instead of those "kids under 14 run the bases" deals, they should have the occasional "adults over 40 get to run the bases". I'd love to do that once.
Gold.
Do I get an assist?
This one isn't as good as Harveys, but it's right up there.
the yanks hit .171 in that series against the dodgers. 448 ops
and that was against the best pitching on the planet
Not happening. Kids under 14 are less likely to break an ankle. Or a heart valve.
look at you getting all sassy with the age joke
keep it buster brown and i will show you the true meaning of the stone age
.171
This is a new level of futility.
We tried to play softball at a family reunion four years ago. We got an inning and a half deep before one of the uncles pulled a hammy making the dash from first to second on a ground ball.
We have not played softball at a family function since.
Awaiting a ruling from the Unofficial Scorer.
I just didn't know he could sing.
I was flipping back and forth to the Canada vs Honduras match, but stopped when Canada was down 4-0 after 20 ####### minutes.
I just saw that they lost 8-1.
Nice job sh!tting the bed, guys.
No Valverde is the most important thing.
you make it sound like he has a drink waiting for him when he's done
If it didn't go over the fence and stayed fair, he should have been running the whole way. A crazy bounce and he might get to third.
As I said, it'll be interesting to see how Detroit fares against a real team in the WS.
Shitty Yankee hitter hits a big HR. Again.
The timing of this post couldn't have been better.
Great AB by Nuñez.
I'm not sure what Leyland's end game plan is here.
They used one of those neuralyzers to wipe his memory of the last month.
"ki" is Japanese for "ez".
