Lohse pitching well

it’s ridiculously early but kyle lohse has been great. he throws strikes and he works fast. yes he makes funny faces while pitching and most brewer fans figure his performance is going to tank any moment but for right ‘now’ doug melvin has to feel good.

if lohse pitches half this well for all 2013 doug melvin can tell me personally to 'pound sand'

Harv, this thinly veiled attempt to distract from the fact that Ned Yost has a 34% chance to be MOTY is not fooling anyone.

Not to hijack the thread, but A.J. Burnett has also been going kind of nuts.

I love AJ Burnett. I hope I can time a visit to Pgh for one of his starts this year.

It's nice when someone who seems like a total dumbass is a dominating starting pitcher. There must be something going on in his head. The Joe Blanton era in Philly contained a few of those moments.

Love the headline. About as exciting as Lohse himself.

AJ Burnett is what Nuke LaLoosh became when he grew up.

This isn't really news. He's a good pitcher. Not great, but pretty good.

he throws strikes and he works fast.

So, the anti-Edwin Jackson, in both respects. Watching Jackson pitch is more painful than watching Steve Trachsel.

I hope he goes into the hall wearing a Pirates cap, boy won't that frost Yankees fans.
