Major League Baseball helps thousands in Compton enjoy Thanksgiving

Kudos to MLB!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!! Among the things we are thankful for is you! Thanks for spending some of your valuable time on the site. You make this place special.

Major League Baseball (MLB) will help provide Thanksgiving Dinner for thousands in Compton. MLB is donating $10,000 to the Mozel Sanders Foundation and in collaboration with the City of Compton, Compton Community College, business and community leaders will serve dinner to an expected 5,000 homeless people and families in and around the Compton area. Many of the young baseball players who utilize the field at the MLB Urban Youth Academy located on the college campus will be the meal servers for the day.
