Marlins Fans Cool to Winter Warm-Up Event

Said Cooper: “We love our Marlins. We just hate Loria.”

Cooper said he was hoping to get players to sign the shirt. He said his shirt was a hit with fans, adding “Even the employees liked it.”

Don Chase, a Fort Lauderdale lawyer, wore a Toronto Blue Jays cap — his way of protesting November trade.

“I’m supporting the Marlins North,” Chase said. “We need to trade the owner.”

No one is safe from the infamous cols/rows posting bug. I guess the parser doesn't like tags embedded within the quote tag.

The unquoted part leading off is everything after the opening link tag around "custom-made", all of which appears correctly in the quote box.

Well, the worst attendance ever for the Marlins was 10,038 fans per game in 2002 (813k total on the year, just over 1000 more total than the Expos that year.

Last year there were 27k per game, after 18k+ the year before. Can they drop back down to that 18k level? The second lowest they ever were was 14k per game, can they reach that low? I'd love to see it. I think the 10k in 2002 is too far to reach though.
