1. Sweatpants Posted: February 13, 2013 at 07:32 PM (#4369151)They were teammates one year. Don't know if they ever formed a battery though.
On topic, I swear to you that when I saw this headline I assumed it meant the Marlins had brought Redmond in maybe on an NRI to compete for the backup catcher job. Not that I could name their starting catcher. Maybe it's Mike Redmond?
Jeff Mathis.
Rob Brantly
I was going to joke that some of you had forgotten Kevin Coffman, but... well, I'd forgotten just how bad Redman was (11.63 ERA, 6 games, 5 starts). Blocked it out, I guess.
EDIT: No Brave with as many innings as Redman posted a lower ERA+ with Atlanta. Least WAR is Jo-Jo Reyes (-3.0), followed by Kyle Davies (-2.8). Coffman and Redman were way back at -1.2.
Interrupted by Scott Servais and Scott Service.

Terry Francona-? Did he get a job this winter?
Roenicke-?
Lookking it up I see some names I knew but either forgotten or thought got fired. Valentine, Ventura, and Leyland
It's called a platoon.
Terry Francona is an Indian
Fredi Gonzalez - Braves
Pirates might still be Clint Hurdle
Walt Weiss - Rockies
Bud Black - Padres
Bochy is Giants
Bob Melvin, I think, is A's
Eric Wedge - Mariners
Bo Porter - Astros
John Farrell - Red Sox
John Gibbons - Blue Jays
The recent appointment of several well-known stars makes it easier. This is the first time in many years I've known who manages the Orioles, for example.
Mariners - Eric Wedge was fired, right? I'll still say Eric Wedge
A's - Not Bob Geren. That other guy.
Angels - Mike Scioscia
Rangers - Wash
Astros - Brad Mills?
Indians - Francona
Twins - Gardenhire
Tigers - Leyland
White Sox - Ventura
Royals - I forget
Yankees - Girardi
Blue Jays - John Gibbons
Red Sox - The guy who just left the Blue Jays. All I can think is "John Gibbons".
Orioles - Showalter
Rays - Maddon
Giants - Bochy
Padres - Still Bud Black?
Rockies - some guy
Dbacks - Kirk Gibson
Dodgers - Mattingly
Pirates - Clint Hurdle
Brewers - Ron Roenicke. I know nothing about him but I remember Harveys Wallbangers' amusing comments about his total lack of emotion
Cubs - some guy
Reds - Dusty Baker
Cardinals - Matheny
Phillies - Char-Man
Mets - Terry Collins
Braves - Um.... I think it's a Latino guy
Nationals - Davey Johnson
Marlins - Mike Redmond, apparently
I think he's the only guy who shifts on right-handed batters.
Toronto - Gibbons
Tampa - Maddon
NY - Girardi
Baltimore - Showalter
KC - Yost?
Minnesota - Gardenhire
Cleveland - Tito
Chicago - Ventura

Cincinnati - Baker
Arizona - Gibson
Los Angeles - Mattingly
Colorado - Tracy?
San Diego - Black
San Francisco - Bochy
EDIT: Not bad. I was indeed very very wrong about McLendon. Bo Porter in Houston? Wouldn't have ever ever ever gotten that one.
CIN - Baker, CHC - Sveum, MIL - Roenicke, PIT - Hurdle, STL - Matheny
ARI - Gibby, COL - Weiss, LAD - Mattingly, SDP - Black, SFG - Bochy

Can't believe that I don't remember KC. Yost, I think.
