1. danieljWell it's an over-bid to say that RISP has zip to do with scoring, just not a real big one. RISP stats have next to nothing to do with team runs scored. In no small part because the unstated assumption is that a single with a runner on second is a run and that's just no true.

not really. He has hot and cold stretches like anybody else but I don't recall a slump lasting this long since early in his rookie year. He looks bad too, taking fastballs down the middle and lunging at bad pitches. Quite un-Markakis like.
This guy's threshold for amazement must be pretty low.
