Matinale: Rafael Soriano, keep your shirt together!

And sunken chest harried Details Magazine agrees!...“Shirttails that hang down to your fly don’t say you’re stylish—they say you’re immature.”

George Michael Steinbrenner III must be turning over in his grave.  Spinning!  The late Yankee owner wanted his team to display class when pummeling opponents and we Yankee fans expect no less.

Rafael Soriano pulls his shirt out of his pants at the conclusion of a game in which he is the last pitcher as he did yet again yesterday after his latest John Wetland memorial death defying save.  Soriano did this in 2011 and I immediately found it offensive, embarrassing, classless. You know, the usual snooty stuff Yankee haters would associate with Yankee fans, even though I’m just rooting for the home team (Yankees only 1958-1961) like most fans in other parts of the USA ... oh, and Toronto.

...This conduct is embarrassing.  Soriano should be embarrassing the Mets, not the Yankees.  Geez!

Rafael Soriano, act like a Yankee!  Joe DiMaggio is watching.

Isn't there an all-star roster or something else important to post this week? Geez this is thin soup.

Imagine if he pulled out his shirt, then did a couple of somersaults. We'd probably see columns asking Selig to ban him from the sport, for the good of the game.

Nah, he'd have to paint his fingernails for that.

Pssh, I remember when Sparky Lyle used to wave his scrotum at the opposing dugout after a save.

He's my least favorite Yankee reliever in a long time. Since The Professor (Farnsworth) maybe, maybe even further back to The Run Fairy. And he's actually been a pretty important part of the team's success this year, which neither of those guys could ever really say. That's how much of an unlikeable dick Soriano is. I hope he opts out after this year.
