Jones' grade is too low, Balentien's too high. Other than that, good list. Not much of a system, though.

I'm surprised Jones isn't an A. I can't think of any prospects John has ranked as a B+ or A- that I'd rather have than him, and there are some A's I'd take Jones over.

Jones + Clement + Triunfel + Tillman + Butler + Aumont + Michael Saunders + Juan Ramirez = not much of a system.

For all Adam Jones does right, the fact that he strikes out three times for every walk is a big thing that he does wrong. It's well within the realm of possibility that his plate discipline never improves and he turns out to be Juan Encarnacion.

Yeah, Bruce has similar issues and got an A, but I don't see the problem in downgrading Jones because he hasn't made progress where he needs it.
