I don’t even know what to say about this one.

maybe let's wait to see if it's true.

Is this Jason Wood the former Marlin?

Sure, innocent until proven guilty, but they found a spy camera installed in his shower. Not a whole lot of legitimate reasons to do that.

Making sure his plumber wasn't ripping him off?

Probably just wanted to check his shower routine. Maybe he wanted to make some changes. Get wash cloth mittens and maybe some liquid soap, and just focus.

Good point, Mr. Denby. He was probably gathering quantitative data on the efficiency of his shampooing with the new Showercast system.

Shower analytics is an emerging field.

How can you properly develop the metric without gathering enough data?

That Jason Wood is the manager of the Rangers' AAA team, so I'd be surprised if he was also a player agent.

Why were the players using his shower anyway? The whole set-up seems a bit odd - I would have thought any player-agent meetings would be happening at the company's office.

He may have a private bathroom/shower in his office. Not sure the circumstances under which you'd use the shower at your agent's office -- maybe after playing a round of golf with your agent before a meeting or a dinner, or something like that.

We're not selling jeans here! But it is a lucrative endorsement market, and we can get into it if we see what you look like without them.

"Hey slugger. Thanks for coming in today. We've got several endorsement opportunities to discuss. Hey ... you look tired. Care for a refreshing shower?"

Shower analytics is an emerging field.

Draft players with a high Shower Radish Rosettes Above Replacement value.

Hey, Buck Showalter could do all the scouting he needs this way. He could clearly see whether the player had a high butt, which way his toes pointed...hell, he could even tell if the player is really a redhead.

Maybe swinging a heavier bat really is an impediment.

I'll let someone else make what's probably an obvious "exit velocity" joke...

Maybe the cameras were there to film his own sexual exploits. Of course, if he's gay it would probably be more difficult to convince people he wasn't also filming any professional athlete in there.
