MLB: Clemens could throw batting practice to Minor Leaguers

But the results will always be in question…asterisk added to Minor Leaguers BP numbers remains a possibility.

Roger Clemens is likely to make an appearance this week at the Astros’ Spring Training complex, where his son, Koby, will work out with 39 Minor Leaguers in a minicamp for select prospects.

Sources within the organization have hinted that Clemens will show up to Osceola County Stadium, but as of Sunday, assistant general manager Ricky Bennett had not received word that the Rocket is definitely coming to Kissimmee.

If Clemens does show up, he will be welcomed by the organization. Club owner Drayton McLane said as much last week when he was at the complex for a couple of days, and Bennett reiterated that stance Sunday.

“If he shows up, I think we’ll approach it like we approached it at the minicamp,” Bennett said, referring to the Elite Camp held in January at Minute Maid Park. “I have no direct knowledge when he’s going to show up, if he’s going to show up. If and when he does, we’ll address the security issues and all those types of things at that point.”

I think all the batting practice he threw to Major Leaguers last summer qualifies him for the job.

Hey, I could throw batting practice to minor leaguers too after a few years of an intense PED regimen.

Don't worry, he is going to be going away soon. To Leavenworth.

Yes, he's surely headed to jail with all the iron-clad proof stacked up against him.

This is to acclimatize the young batters to all the steroid and HGH using pitchers they'll encounter at higher levels, of course.
