“Hi, I’m David Wright. I invite you to the…

New York Mets Third Baseman David Wright has been selected as Major League Baseball’s official spokesperson for T-Mobile® All-Star FanFest, the world’s largest interactive baseball fan event, to be held at the Jacob K. Javits Center from Friday, July 12 through Tuesday, July 16. Wright joins a distinguished list of MLB stars who have served in this role including Torii Hunter, Derek Jeter, Albert Pujols and Justin Upton. In addition, Mets legends Edgardo Alfonzo, John Franco and Mookie Wilson have each been named MLB All-Star Ambassadors.

“All-Star FanFest is the world’s largest baseball fan event, and is a great experience for the whole family,” said Wright. “Just like New York City, FanFest has something for everyone, and I am proud to be a part of the home team as we host this exciting event.”

As the official spokesperson, Wright will help to generate public awareness for T-Mobile All-Star FanFest and make a variety of appearances in support of the event. As Ambassadors, Alfonzo, Franco and Wilson will take part in an array of All-Star events leading up to and throughout MLB All-Star Week.

T-Mobile All-Star FanFest will transform the Jacob K. Javits Center into the largest interactive baseball theme park in the world, providing an unrivaled experience for fans of all ages. Visitors will experience more than 400,000 square feet of baseball fun with attractions including exhibits from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, batting cages, clinics, free autograph sessions with former Mets, MLB legends and Hall of Famers, memorabilia and much more.
