MLB.com: Jennings returns from DL as Rays hit Bronx

With Jennings back tonight and Longoria hopefully returning in a couple weeks the Rays are close to at least having the starting lineup versus righties back at full strength (Keppinger will still be missing from the LHP lineup for at least a few more weeks). I’m pleased with where they’re at despite the various injuries and the lack of great production from some of the regulars they’re counting on, they’re on a 93 win pace and are just a half-game out of the league’s best record. The team is well-positioned to keep their first place spot in the division if they can get back to having only two below-average hitters (compared to league average, not position) in their lineup every night instead of four.

I can’t wait for All-Star Fernando Rodney to happen.

Anyone know what's going on with Shields' mechanics? Hope he's not compensating for an injury...
