I'm pretty sure they mean "missile tracking software", as missile tracking cameras would be extremely useless at tracking something 30 m or less away. And I'm pretty sure that the "missile tracking software" isn't very different in concept from cow tracking software or banana slug tracking software. But it sounds nicer and gets more hits.

I don't know why. I've been looking for good banana slug tracking software for years.
