Morning Edition: Wrigley Field, the Much-Imitated, Never Duplicated Ballpark.

SCOTT SIMON: Speaking of ancient times, the Cubs haven’t won a World Series since Roosevelt was president, Theodore Roosevelt, in 1908. We’re outside of the park in front of the marquee, and you know, when my mother did last summer, the Cubs were kind enough to put her name up here. My grandfather, my father, my stepfather, my mother died without ever seeing the Cubs win a World Series here. And you know what, now they’re coming for me.

Includes a chat with Ernie Banks. Let’s play two.
