newsday.com - Tuesday - Ducks Sign Former Met Baerga

It’s hard to believe that Baerga is still just 32. The former heart and soul of the Indians has had an unmatched dropoff in skills.

Looking at the "similarity scores", Baerga was most similar to Gary Sheffield in '93 and Edgardo Alfonzo in '95. By '98 and '99 he was having years similar to Carney Lansford.
