Brewers are unlikely pull it off, but making the Cards sweat a little with this 24-6 run, given how things looked a month or so ago, is nice :)

Very interesting. Cubs need 3 more wins to avoid 100L, why not pick up two more this weekend please?

This makes me feel pretty good about Roenicke. I don't recall exactly when he really ripped the pitching staff, but it wasn't too long afterwards (and post Greinke trade) where things really settled down. I agree, not expecting this clip to carry, but heck we all watched last year, and '95 and other years.

That was a real nice 9th inning for the Brewers. Pretty exciting stuff.

It was definitely a lot more fun being on the other side of the amazing win streak, last year...

Brewers odds are up to 17.5%. Cardinals at 73.3%, 9.2% that it's someone else. Of course, the Braves have not clinched yet.

ya'know if the braun guy wasn't such a horrible person that game tying single might be considered an mvp type thing

that play at the plate was great despite the outcome. braun made a great slide but the throw and tag were greater

Nats need to give Clippard a few days off I think. I was surprised Davey used him twice in one day.
