Walt Davis Posted: September 03, 2012 at 08:07 PM (#4225775)By the way, remember that article posted here about how the Dotel for McDonald trade was one of the dumbest (from the Dodgers' perspective) ever because, y'know, it was just a reliever and McDonald had turned the corner and was dominating? Unfortunately, since mid-June he's had a 6.06 ERA and an 833 OPS against. Still an average starter on the season -- which is still more valuable than a bit of Dotel a few years ago but is also not something to get very worked up about.
If he retired right now he might be the most consistent starter in MLB history (minimum 18 IP)!
