All the wrong teams won tonight.

The Pirates made seven errors tonight. Since I have no skills with the Play Index and don't normally pay much attention to errors, can anyone help me out and tell me how rarely this happens?

It felt like the 2011 Cubs made that many errors at least twice a week.

The Braves have decided not to give up runs anymore. Perhaps not against the most dynamic offenses, but still....This bodes well for them. They can afford to do more baserunning plays that could take them out of big innings to have a greater assurance of getting 1 or 2 in an inning.

P-I don't do errors.

Best I can do -- the Cubs reached base via error 5 times. Since 2000 there have been 4 games where a team reached base by error at least 5 times with the winner being the Dodgers who reached base 6 times by error against the D-Backs in 2010.

Perhaps even more impressive, in 2006 the Dodgers reached base 5 times by error againt the Cubs and walked 7 times and still managed to lose the game 9-8.

MLB Network had a graphic earlier of 7 error games, I believe the Braves were the last one, but I can't recall the exact details.

It was this game against the Rockies in 2004. I actually remember it pretty well; Mark DeRosa committed four errors at third base.
