and sleepy, frankie and john have stopped stinking so the crew bullpen has gone from disaster to ok
it was understood at the time that the team's season was being undermined by the bullpen. ron's failing (and melvin has to be lumped in there as well) was to not act quicker and more decisively. ron took a very passive approach thinking it would get better and instead the team blew game after game for a 2 month stretch.
now to ron's credit the team has continued to play hard. but when 2012 is reviewed by management i would hope that leadership (in the dugout and front office) point the finger at themselves first.
