James McDonald now has pitched 4 scoreless innings since his callup. He's been minor league pitcher of the year for the Dodgers two straight seasons - with Kuo apparently out, does he have any chance to make the post season roster?

Congrats Dodgers fans. Only one of the most epic collapses in the history of the game could make you miss the playoffs now.

It's amazing to me that they're 51-60 since their high-water mark of 12 over .500 on May 18th. They're not that bad of a team, in fact, they're a good team. It's incredible.

I'm not going to argue whether they are a good team or not. Either way, with that bullpen, they didn't stand a chance. Lyon was amazingly bad post-break and Rauch was awful.

The Dodgers are enjoying one of their best Septembers since moving to LA - 15 wins in 20 games.
Previous best winning percentage I've found is 1965's .733 (22-8).
