Your thinking of the other Ant superhero.
-points to the door-
I look at it this way, either everyone operates this way or nobody does. I don't think TLR operates that way, but people seem to think differently because of their preconceived notions.
I would rather watch game 5 of the Nats-Cards series again than hear that high pitched whine again.

I went hulu watching the other day(on hulu.com and looking at movie trailer) I'm really looking forward to the new Oz movie(not the prison Oz, but the origin of the Wizard from wizard of Oz movie)
What would Ant-man do?
All right gents, I'll be gamecasting the last few innings. If the Giants blow this, I won't want to see it happen anyway. Say goodnight to Radioactive Boy for me.
I thought Seven Psychopaths looked good.
I would say I agree with the latter part, but that was my defense all the time for when people would say TLR did something, "that wasn't when he would have done that".....maybe teams have figured out that the best time to do something, is when you wouldn't have done it.
Which Ant Man? Eric O'grady would bean him, then have sex with his wife on top of the gravesite.
Live by the Kozma, die by the Kozma.
WB has all the rights, it's just that they are incompetent and don't have good people like Feige running their superhero brands. Other than Batman, they haven't had a clue what to do with them in years. Although this Man of Steel movie looks more promising than I had thought it would....
At least they didn't rush a Justice League movie out there, Warner Brothers do have a plan now, but I don't have faith in their execution.
They are shooting for a 2015 release.
Just in time to get their asses whooped by Avengers. Only hope is if they get a really good director and/or really good writer....
A JLA movie without a Batman would be like a Avengers movie without Captain America.
They won't during Game 1.
Homeless Rightfielder: He just wants his kids back.
It will include a batman, they plan on already doing a relaunch of batman. Also they haven't guaranteed that the actors that play the roles in the movies, will get the roles in the justice league movie... more evidence of WB's incompetence.
Exceptional. Must be continued at least through the Series, assuming Pence is involved of course.
JJ, that got my wife to laugh out loud.
I Like that x-men/Fantastic Four has Mark Millar taking the helms. I think a unified vision is necessary for projects of this magnitude.
Marvel's done a great job — an incredible job — lining their assets up, and then having all these movies be solid action movies leading up to the Avengers. It's hard to imagine that the Justice League could be this lucky. Plus, the DC heroes are seriously overpowered. Superman is a league unto himself. It's hard to find a movie situation where Batman could stand shoulder to shoulder with that guy. I would love to see a Wonder Woman movie, though. Lynda Carter a big part of my growing up process.
Yes. I realize that now. I got distracted.
I have stolen your cat's picture.
Almost immediately after WB won the lawsuit. Forbes article on it.
The Flash is so fast that it's hard to come up with a way in which he doesn't just punch the villain unconcious in .5 seconds.
It's hard to write Superman for the same reason as the Flash, except you add in him being invulnerable, super-strong, able to fly, etc.
And JLA is hardest of all because it requires you to come up with something that could pose a true threat to Superman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Aquaman (who is far more badass then most give him credit for due to the cartoon's defamation of him), the Martian Manhunter, Batman and occasionally somebody else like the Atom or Zatanna (a witch who can do anything so long as she says a spell backwards). Usually, the answer is "Darkseid" or "Injustice Gang/Legion of Doom/Whatever."
Evidently more Joss Whedon is not the answer.
8-0. Drubbing.
He's an RBI machine!
I'm a Giants fan and got tired of his schtick a long time ago. He's trying way too hard.
No RBI on double plays. Which I'm not sure makes sense, but whatever.
No.
I think all comic book characters could be made into a good movie. My problem with Superman is that the movies tend to focus on Luthor, who is a great serial villain, but is not a good filmable villain. Superman's primary movie villain should be Brainiac. (which they seem against using, it makes sense to have a hero be an alien, but the fans can't accept a second alien apparently, that is just to unrealistic)
Green Lantern could have been a good movie, same with Wonder Woman, regardless of their power levels,(wonder woman would deal with the greek gods, you are talking about a franchise that has Hercules and Pluto as a viable villains; and Green lantern, again will deal with alien threats, no reason to think that they wouldn't be powerful)
Eventually a JLA movie would have to have Darkseid as the villain(but with the Avengers bringing in Darkseid's clone, Thanos, it will seem that they are copying the Avengers, even though Darkseid has been around a lot longer)
And that is fine, the JLA is there to protect the earth from alien like threats, and they don't need a dues ex machina of the baddies being powered by the mother ship.
(I still have a soft spot for Wilson, although I know he is quite annoying)
For anyone unaware, the comic books are considered canon for both Buffy and Firefly...they have the origin of Sheppard Book.
Please, Thanos and Darkseid are different enough. Darkseid has a much bigger posse. And a planet that is basically hell. Thanos is just a punk of a god with a crush on death... Darkseid wants to inflict a fate worse than death.
Play at plate [X]
Also, the Sea Captain schtick on the George Lopez show was really funny. Really, really funny. Very few MLBers are actually funny.
(I know he's really over-exposed at this point).
For anyone unaware, the comic books are considered canon for both Buffy and Firefly...they have the origin of Sheppard Book.
I assume his grandfather married?
Yes, the JLA would have dealt with Loki in about five minutes. And the first four minutes would be Batman standing around figuring everything out.
I agree - it was a truly weird bit of film.
She says:
"Is it totally obvious that I'm not wearing underwear? Because it should be..."
"Well, that makes two of us."
Two of what?
He's a tosser
As far as characters are concerned, yes, but Thanos and the fact that he's evolved from gods was enough of a copy from Darkseid, that it's only his evolution as a character that has separated them.
I never saw that. I'll have to check it out.
Two people not wearing underwear, I think. But it's obscure enough that it took me a few viewings to figure it out.
She's just a big Angel Pagan fan.
he's going commando also.
Me too.
Well given that Thanos will be in "Guardians of the Galaxy" first (yes, we will have ROCKET RACCOON in a movie), I'm guessing he'll be more like his current characterization by the time he tangoes with the Avengers and not be the Darkseid clone he originally was created as.
Does that take into account it's the Cardinals? :)
Agreed, but they have a similar enough look that I can see audiences thinking they are clones.
I love me rocket raccoon.
I think it means he is not wearing underwear either.
EDIT -Coke to Eric and CFB
It's also easier to convey speed in a comic book by having the Flash in a single pose and put speed lines/blurs behind him.
On film, you either have silly looking sped up arms/legs, or you have him be a computer generated blur, which would get VERY boring after a while.
(At least Superman's speed is only in play in small bursts (catching bullets, outrunning trains, swooping into save a plane), but you ALWAYS have to show the Flash at superspeed..it's all he's got!)
The third option is to film his speed from FLASH's point of view, so everyone else is moving ultra-slow, while he interacts with them.
But that would look REALLY weird...
I didn't say whose win expectancy was .999.
Flash would be a cool effect the first couple of times, but it would get old, just like bullet time did.
It's all Zito, all the time. He's starting every game and going 3 innings.
And there is a 100% chance that Pence has an ADHD prescription for Adderall.
Even the hottest of hitters can become.... cold.
