Melvin did some good work with the Rangers back in the day, too. Brewers have been up and down some over the past 10-12 years, but fortunes for that franchise turned around when Melvin was hired as GM. Before that, they were a wasteland (and yes, the Selig family moving on had a lot to do with it, too).

And yes, RIP Harveys.
