NY Daily News: A-ROD: MINOTAUR’S A MYTH

Miami’s Art Basel celebration ended yesterday, but not before Yankees millionaire benchwarmer Alex Rodriguez attempted to put a longstanding rumor to sleep: that he has two rather tacky, if not shamefully egomaniacal, paintings above his bed.

“No, I do not have a painting of my upper body on a Minotaur,” he told Confidenti@l at a toy drive over the weekend. “I don’t know where they get that stuff.”

I thought it was quite funny how the first part of the article went on about how Elin Nordegrin doesn't even get recognized when she goes out, like she's longing to have scumbags with cameras stalking her every move again.

The Minotaur Takes a Cigarette Break is a pretty good novel. It's probably the best book about minotaurs in contemporary society.

A centaur, sphinx, manticore, naga, tengu and merman, sure. But a Minotaur? That's just silly.

Of course not. Ever since his hip injury forced him to another...position...in bed, he's hung it on the wall opposite the bed, where he can still gaze dreamily into its powerful yet welcoming brown eyes.
