Anyone having problems getting to this site?

I can get on through my phones connection using the tower, but not through my internet at home or even through my proxy server.

Seems to be working now...

Cardinals and Brewers not having a pretty game so far, slow paced by both pitchers. Aramis Ramirez made a fantastic play on a swinging bunt, but the rest of the game(especially from the Cardinals) has bee sloppy.

4-1 Brewers... Martinez is not having any luck and Brewers are perfectly placing the ball when they have to. Looks like Brewers want first place to themselves.

Remember when the Royals were in 1st place?

JD Martinez....not a fluke.

Maness is getting hammered today. Martinez was a bit unlucky, but Maness is getting hammered.

Second ugliest game of the year for the Cardinals...getting thoroughly stomped today 11-1 Brewers.

Took two out of three against the first place Brewers, 1 game back going into the all star break(Four teams in the central are within 4 games of first place)

(Four teams in the central are within 4 games of first place)

7 teams within 2 games of each other in the NL as a whole and Pitt just 2 more back. Parity!!

In the AL, Detroit, Oak and LAA have pretty much sewn up 3 of the 5 slots.

Hey, the Phillies just swept the first place Brewers. Cardinals need to learn a thing or two from Andres Blanco, Kyle Kendrick and the rest.

re: accessing the site today, I was in the same boat as cardsfanboy - couldn't do it on my computers (Comcast internet), but I could get there on my phone (T-Mobile). And it stayed that way from this morning through at least midafternoon. I had to run some errands and just got home around 7 PM CDT, and now things seem fine on the 'puter too.

A few notes on the Giants' grand slams today:

-- Posey and Bumgarner are the first starting battery in major-league history to hit grand slams in the same game.

-- Bumgarner joins Tony Cloninger as the only pitchers with two slams in one season, albeit with a little more time between his two than Cloninger.

-- It's just the third time San Francisco has had two slams in a game. McCovey and Dick Dietz did it back in 1970, and Bill Mueller and Jeff Kent in 1998.

Pirates are 13-26 against the Brewers, Reds, and Cardinals, 6-7 against the AL, 30-13 against everyone else they've played in the NL. They have yet to play the Rockies or Braves, and they have the Tigers and Red Sox yet to play in interleague.

The Bucs don't see a team in their division again until August 22; 19 of their next 22 games are against the NL West.

Sean Doolittle watch: The major league record for highest K:BB ratio, minimum 50 innings, is held by Dennis Eckerlsey, who posted an 18.33 ratio in 1989 (57.2 IP, 55 K, 3 BB; Eckerlsey's 18.25 in 1990 is the second-highest of all time). After striking out two today, Doolittle enters the break with 61 K and 2 BB in 42.1 innings--a 30.5 ratio.

Do they plan to re-start the Yankees-Orioles game?
