GET SOMEONE UP NOW!

That's your answer, Kay.

WHY IS NOBODY WARMING, JOEY JOE JOE, YOU ####### ####?!?!?!?
   104. AT-AT at bat@AT&T Posted: August 11, 2017 at 10:41 PM (#5511741)
Aroldis Crapman !
   105. Chip Posted: August 11, 2017 at 10:43 PM (#5511742)
(Waits for Paul O'Neill to praise "incredible" ABs after consecutive BBs. And waits.)
   106. He who brought the butter dish to Balshazar (CoB) Posted: August 11, 2017 at 10:45 PM (#5511743)
Kahnle already warmed ... he's likely quicker to warm up again ... he throws more strikes than Betances ... so Joey Joe Joe belatedly decides to warm Betances.

####### BRILLIANT.
   107. Chip Posted: August 11, 2017 at 10:46 PM (#5511744)
Cone: "When a pitcher has these kind of control problems, he becomes very predictable ... " Um, yeah, as we've been saying.
   108. Chip Posted: August 11, 2017 at 10:48 PM (#5511746)
Eduardo Nunez, world's biggest idiot.
   109. He who brought the butter dish to Balshazar (CoB) Posted: August 11, 2017 at 10:49 PM (#5511747)
Awwww, there's the Nuney I remember and love (now) ...
   110. The Yankee Clapper Posted: August 11, 2017 at 10:50 PM (#5511748)
Never in doubt! <whew>
   111. Chip Posted: August 11, 2017 at 10:51 PM (#5511749)
Yankees announcers trying to praise the aggressiveness of Nunez, when it's just as likely Chapman walks the bases loaded again if you don't hand him a free out.
   112. He who brought the butter dish to Balshazar (CoB) Posted: August 11, 2017 at 10:52 PM (#5511750)
And ... exhale!

WHAT A WIN!

Molina with his 8th stolen base of the year....
   114. cardsfanboy Posted: August 11, 2017 at 10:53 PM (#5511752)
Freeman absolutely robs Wong of an rbi double.
   115. ERROR---Jolly Old St. Nick Posted: August 11, 2017 at 10:54 PM (#5511753)
How they won that game I'll never know, but thank you Eduardo Nunez!
   116. Chip Posted: August 11, 2017 at 10:57 PM (#5511755)
Instructive insight into Yankee fandom in this chatter, what with the bulk of participants (absent the incoherent nutball who may or may not be an actual fan) only showing up when they took the lead.
   117. Joyful Calculus Instructor Posted: August 11, 2017 at 10:58 PM (#5511756)
Rich Hill is looking all out of sorts tonight. He's lucky to get out of the 3rd inning down only 2-1.

Is there really a need to post on every pitch? Every batter? Or even every inning? Chill a bit.

Well obviously, only if there's a chance of a Yankee W.

4 more times on base for Votto tonight. 16 straight games getting on safely at least twice
   122. LA Podcasting Hombre of Anaheim Posted: August 12, 2017 at 12:03 AM (#5511773)
I flew all the way up here for this? I hate you, Ricky Nolasco.
   123. frannyzoo Posted: August 12, 2017 at 12:14 AM (#5511776)
Trout gets walked, basically, to load the bases down 5-1 with two outs. That brings up Pujols.

As a Ms fan, I approve. But it's kinda skeezy.

   124. frannyzoo Posted: August 12, 2017 at 12:16 AM (#5511777)
And Albert plates two to make it 5-3. I still approve, however.

Edit: It's now 5-4. So much for Moore and the bullpen. The Trout intentional walk makes better sense if you have somebody other than Moore pitching, it appears.
   125. LA Podcasting Hombre of Anaheim Posted: August 12, 2017 at 12:19 AM (#5511779)
Angels get another one, now just a 1-run game!!
   126. LA Podcasting Hombre of Anaheim Posted: August 12, 2017 at 12:20 AM (#5511780)
Tie game! Simmons!
   127. Joyful Calculus Instructor Posted: August 12, 2017 at 12:51 AM (#5511788)
Margot had a 2 HR night. Stripling gets bombed. Yikes
   128. frannyzoo Posted: August 12, 2017 at 01:01 AM (#5511791)
Albert's helping tonight. 6-5 Angels courtesy, indirectly, of a Pujols single.
   129. LA Podcasting Hombre of Anaheim Posted: August 12, 2017 at 01:01 AM (#5511792)
Angels take the lead!!
   130. Joyful Calculus Instructor Posted: August 12, 2017 at 01:05 AM (#5511794)
I figured the Dodgers weren't going to be able to maintain a .700 win rate for the whole season. Looks like they're starting to normalize.
   131. LA Podcasting Hombre of Anaheim Posted: August 12, 2017 at 01:16 AM (#5511795)
Ballgame! The Angels nose over .500, and climb within a half game of the Mariners in the WC standings!
   132. frannyzoo Posted: August 12, 2017 at 01:18 AM (#5511796)
Mediocrity meet your next door neighbor, more mediocrity.
   133. LA Podcasting Hombre of Anaheim Posted: August 12, 2017 at 01:21 AM (#5511797)
My bad. The Angels tie the Mariners and Rays, and are a half game behind the Twins.
   134. Davoice of Dapeople Posted: August 12, 2017 at 01:22 AM (#5511799)
If the season ended today, the Twins would face the Yankees in the Wild Card game, and the Yankees would win 27-2.
   135. Davoice of Dapeople Posted: August 12, 2017 at 01:30 AM (#5511801)
I really hope the Twins trade for a reliever or a shortstop. I want them to be the first team ever to go from Buyer to Seller to Buyer in the same season. Yep:

July 23rd: just 1.5 games behind in the division, they trade a prospect to the Braves for Jaime Garcia and Anthony Recker. They're in!

Then: they lose 7 of 8 while the Indians and Royals each win 8 straight. So

July 31st: They trade Jaime Garcia to the Yankees and Brandon Kintzler to the Nationals.

And then of course they won 6 straight and moved into the Wild Card lead. Crazy year.
   136. Joyful Calculus Instructor Posted: August 12, 2017 at 03:05 AM (#5511805)
[135] clearly more is less and less is more for the Twins
