D-Backs beat the Braves 4-1 down south.

Jays are up 7-4 on the Twinkies in Minny.

Washington 4-1 over the Jints in D.C., that one in the 9th.

The Bengals & Pale Hose are knotted at 7-all in the 8th in MoTown.

That's YOUR up-to-the-minute scoreboard.

Evan Longoria's base knock brings SF within 2 against Sean Doolittle with down in the 9th.

Brandon Crawford strikes out swinging to end it.

And the Blue Jays manage to hang on, and win their first series of the season.

Eric Sogard in the leadoff spot. Yikes.
   7. Dock Ellis Posted: April 18, 2019 at 08:03 PM (#5833398)
Dwight Smith Jr. of all people has been hitting the ball very hard lately.

So much for any hint of momentum. The Yankees offense looks hopeless against Homer Bailey, of all people.

Awesome, please bring in the Lovelady. Yankee hopes still alive and kicking.

Unless Holder screws it all up now.
   11. AT-AT at bat@AT&T Posted: April 18, 2019 at 08:30 PM (#5833409)
Screwed.
   12. rconn23 Posted: April 18, 2019 at 08:49 PM (#5833414)
In a season full of embarrassing moments, this is the Yankees worst of the season. Injuries or not, they have to play better than this.

Luke Voit really needs to button up his shirt. Nice catch though.

Will benson is likely to go down as a first round bust for Cleveland - struggles to make contact. He’ll always have tonight though - 4 for 5, all homers, 8 ribbies for Lake County.

Yelich just pokes one off Janson...off the light beer sign about 40 feet above dead center. A long effing way...

That surely is going down as one of the most awesome trades ever.

What is up with Braun? After every pitch, whether he swings or now, he's like dancing in and out of the box.

Dodgers now have a five game W streak immediately following their six game L streak.

Chris Davis has broken the .100 barrier, after entering the game for defense in the 9th, and getting a single in 11th after the Orioles bullpen blew the lead. Now at a robust .109 BA.

Chris Davis has broken the .100 barrier,

of course he's hitting like .350 against the powerhouse Red Sox starting rotation.

The game does not resume until Princess Braun has given permission for it to resume.

Thought the Angel fans would be here celebrating coming back from a 10-2 deficit to tie the Mariners, but it seems pretty quiet. Perhaps they have been too traumatized to enjoy the moment.
