Take a look at that roster. Many are career minor leaguers. The person I was most surprised to see on the roster was Jason Lane - as a pitcher!

And yes, this is fantastic.

I'd like to see Francoeur reinvent himself as a pitcher. It's pretty clear he can't hit, but the guy has always had an incredible arm.

It is amazing to see how many cup of coffee, ex-MLB players there are on that team. I know no one is forcing them to play, but AAA has to be a sad, bittersweet level; guys who are 1 or 2 injuries away from being back in the show, but in daily danger of getting passed by the up and comers on the AA team.

Frenchy's teams went 11-1 in games he was intentionally walked. Proof there are people dumber than Jeff.

But I'll bet it's hard to find a team-mate as sweetly good natured.
