A lot of the Chatterworthy franchises are idle tonight. I'm at the Ballpark to see the Rangers send Cole Hamels against Seattle, in their increasingly futile quest to stay above .500 ...

Anybody NOT watching the Injuns ?

I like it !

The Tigers are not really good, at all.

4:0 Injuns.

I'd be surprised if there's 2,000 people here in Texas. It is a school night, but the pennant race is not over. This is mass desertion compared to the last few Septembers.

Lol, the Dodgers losing has become so inevitable, it's no longer chatterworthy.

Stayed up late last night watching the game.

Funny, but the 20,000 fans in Citi Field seem to be making more noise than the typical 40,000 midweek crowd in Yankee Stadium, maybe because they're pissed off at those two bunts in the top of the inning.

Entirely possible. When I went to sleep last night people in the neighborhood were still hollering about the Cowboys' every move.

Rangers chase Ariel Miranda in the second after just 50 pitches.

Diamondbacks, 2016: last in NL in ERA
Diamondbacks, 2017: 2nd in NL in ERA to date, and closing fast.

Has any team gone worst-to-first in ERA?

Pirates with a 4-0 lead over the Brewers....go Pirates... I'm assuming Arizona is going to lock up the first wild card spot, so hopefully they can beat up on Colorado.

[14] Arizona won't be the first WC if they're NL West champs.

Great job from Robertson, 2 2/3rds innings in relief!

Way to go, Hammer!

Arizona looks like they're starting to slump now: 3 losses in 4 games since the big W streak (barring a crazy comeback).
   18. Joyful Calculus Instructor Posted: September 12, 2017 at 12:46 AM (#5530000)
And just as I write that Arizona rallies for two runs and has the tying run in scoring position, winning run on first.

Diamondbacks lose! Magic number is 10. We may back into the division title after all.

the fact its after 2 am for me and baseball that means something is being played is awesome.

I spent 6 weeks in PA one summer and did not enjoy how late the baseball games were.

Foolishly decided to watch some Dodgers @ Giants. 8-6, Giants in 7th, and my interest has waned. Out.

Hey, the Dodgers went more than 36 hours without a loss and didn't even need an off day to do it. Progress!
