OH wait, I got the teams confused.
Yeah thankfully Notre Dame's great defense buckled down and forced the punt. Oh wait, they got sodomized once again. LOL.
And the child within is revealed ...
Did whoever fixed the game pay off Notre Dame's defense to play like crap?
No, but instead of the great Notre Dame defense forcing a punt they allowed Alabama to drive the field and score again.
No they need their excuses.
It is a Catholic university.
Hey, I hate both teams. Notre Dame is a fraud and as good at covering up sexual assaults of young people as you'd expect from an appendage of the Catholic Church.
+1
Calm down.
Well I don't know about scared, but they do look overmatched already.
The best thing about Notre Dame is the class and dignity of the institution and its fans.
Does Manziel play CB?
Though admittedly, this is a better option than raping coeds and then bullying them into suicide. So it's a moral gain overall, I guess.
I'm not sure I get why you put Florida-Oklahoma in there. That was close for most of the game, wasn't it?
Not saying that there aren't probably a shitton of rapists on Alabama's team, it does kind of comes with the territory of college sports. Or sports in general.
It's gonna be 21-0 by the end of the first. When does Bama put in the second stringers?
It was, but OU never really threatened to even tie the game, much less go ahead. So even though it was close, there was never a moment where anyone thought OU would win. That's kind of what I was hoping for here but instead it's ####### over already.
The way things look now, it'll get into NU-UF territory.
You might want to refresh your memory of that game. Oklahoma did tie it in the fourth quarter.
EDIT: Do you mean Texas-Alabama, from the next year? Alabama was in control for most of that game, even though Texas made the final score look closer than it was.
cokes
They did when he totally failed to cover his man on the second TD.
It is the same thing with the college coach of the year,
UF was up 10-6 on Nebraska in that game after the 1st quarter. Even OU was up 7-0 on USC before going the other way.
Time to count the days until TCU runs all over LSU at Jerry World.
Hope so. Humiliation is about the only chance of entertainment we have left.
If you gather together 100 or so alpha males, aged 18-23, all of whom are testosteroned up to the point where they are recruited to play D-I college football, and then set them loose on a college campus where they are treated like mythical heroes of yore, you will have no less than four or five sexual assaults per year.
And most of them will be covered up entirely by the machine(s).
Huh, well, wouldn't be the first time I remembered wrong.
EDIT: Do you mean Texas-Alabama, from the next year? Alabama was in control for most of that game, even though Texas made the final score look closer than it was.
Wish I could say I did have that confused. I just whiffed on the memory.
If ArthUr Brown of Kansas State and Te'o had been traded at the beginning of the year, Arthur would have been in NYC and Te'o would have been first team all-Big 12. He's a fine player sure. But I'd bet all the big conferences have a couple of linebackers just as good.
I really don't have a response. I just want to repeat this over and over again. Because it's so goddamned funny.
Te'o is not even the best LBer on the field tonight. That is CJ Mosley.
Oh yeah. I completely agree with this. And it's true in pro-sports too (how many people here recall the allegations against Johan Santana?). I was just ragging on Notre Dame to show that I was equal opportunity hate-watching. Lord knows at least one of my own alma maters (Minnesota) has it's own history of letting players get away with rape.
At this point I'm hoping for a 60-0 blowout, because there's no way Notre Dame makes this even moderately competitive.
Well, you're a clown, so I shouldn't respond to this, but they should have lost to a LSU team that lost to ####### Clemson and could have lost to a Georgia team that got ####### mudholed by South Carolina and took 3 quarters to really start scoring on Nebraska's clownshoes defense. That team shouldn't be annihilating the last eligible undefeated team half way through the second quarter.
I didn't see your jackass prediction, but I bet you didn't have Bama scoring 21 in the first 16 minutes, or possibly dropping 40 or so tonight.
Maybe that's what I'm most upset about, having to see you spew nonsense all over this board for another year and point to like three games to justify your insanity.
Saban is a conservative coach by far. He takes the foot off the pedal in the 2nd half when games are not close.
um, if you only watched the A&M game I'd agree, but when did this happen? A KOR vs Ole Miss? LSU pushed them around for a little bit as they tend to do in B.R. UGA pushed them to the edge, but UGA's pretty damn good (in a strange, when they want to be way). Bama was more often than not this good this season.
Coach Saban runs the ball and shuts down the passing game with a big lead. No reason to rub it in when you play in the SEC.
Outstanding choice.
Not saying Bama isn't good. But they weren't heads and tails better than everyone they played. ND is a good team. Nothing in Bama's record suggests they are capable of just blowing away a top ten team. Hell, you mention the top ten teams they played. They were all one possession games. This is a full on asskicking.
The top predicted score from the previous page is 31. Bama is pretty much a lock to clear that tonight.
I respect that you can at least admit that the big issue you're having right now is having been dead wrong about the competitiveness of this ND team and the probability of me and Foghorn gloating about it all year. Honestly, I appreciate that honesty.
I didn't make any points prediction prior to this game. I rarely if ever predict points. I merely noted, earlier, that the national championship game was held in the Georgia Dome and that UGA came up about five yards short of the title.
They were. Which is why I was so frustrated when Oregon lost, that could have been an interesting game.
It's clear that they are. And yes, I am upset. Staring down three months before meaningful baseball and this is last ####### sporting event I get to watch. #### Notre Dame for this horseshit performance. Congratulations to you and Alabama, your team and your coach are incredible. I can't stand your team, but you guys sure do kick the #### out of just about everyone you play.
There are plenty of people who think ND is not a top ten team.
(Edited for clarity.)
No worries. I went and checked because I was beginning to suspect my memory was wrong.
This. Really, Bama should be playing Oregon in this game.
Or KSU could have beaten Baylor and my team could have stolen a MNC.
What an odd comment.
Well, that seems arguable now, but it sure didn't seem like a reasonable position before tonight.

I have no problem being wrong about sports. Anyone whoever tries to predict more than two things about sports will be wrong at least once and any worthwhile sports fan can deal with that. What makes you such a prick is that even where you are totally wrong, as you have been often, you don't cop to it. You were a no show and then copped out during and after the UF and LSU losses. I don't even understand the thought process behind acting like that, but it makes you intolerable.
They were. Which is why I was so frustrated when Oregon lost, that could have been an interesting game.
Totally agree.

MAC: 2-4 (.333)
Ind: 1-2 (.333)
B10: 2-5 (.286)
MWC: 1-4 (.200)
Oh, I'm sorry. Are we not coming up with stupid reasons to bash ND?
We weren't.
ok, and this I can get behind. From a historical level, agree, this isn't that kind of a team, but they are really good, mostly in a physical imposing will kind of way. That and ND is what we kind of thought, at least offensively for sure, I didn't expect much of anything tonight. I did expect them to score.
I am so not surprised by the Big 10 being the penultimate entry of that list.
eta: This game has been much more even since Alabama's first play of the 2nd quarter.
