Oh, just saw it. Jesus God.
1) left foot miss
2) right foot miss
3) headed miss
I thought he was dead for a second.
Pereira. A sharp kick to the head. He should NOT come back on.
Color me confused. Walbeck is clearly the man to pull, he's been terrible.
Absolutely, the system clearly doesn't work. The team overruled the physio, which has to be absolutely forbidden or the situation will never improve.
Pretty bad job. Stuff is a yellow in some cases or not a foul in others.
Oh hey, a weakly-hit shot right at the keeper. Why didn't they think of that before?!
MCoA has them as ~7% to advance with a loss here.
Right, if Italy beat Costa Rica, they're obviously fielding their weakest squad against Uruguay, since they would have the group wrapped up.
Article about all the Germans on the National Team.
A little tidbit about Zelalem:
The guy has played for Arsenal about as much as Green played for Bayern (maybe even less), but I've watched him in a couple friendlies and he looks very composed. .
He's a stud. The sort of player the US has been looking for seemingly forever. Technically he's ready for the EPL now. Physically it might be a few years. His dad was seen with a UMSNT jersey the other day on Facebook. In his interviews he's American as apple pie, even in his Arsenal academy profile he sounds like an American kid talking as he pantomimes basketball cross overs and jumpers with the soccer ball.
Can't wait to bring him into the fold.
But they didn't really play well enough in either of these games for it to feel like a particularly grave injustice.
Boring James Milner ?@BoringMilner 7m
I said Glad you got your 1st world cup goal, Wayne. He said Not now, James. I said Are you mad because we lost? He said What do you think.
Two pretty clear yellow cards adds up to one red. And a referee with guts is willing to show a card. Sadly, this will probably just cause Greece to bunker up even more.
Except as I write this, they almost score!
Messi seems like a ####### asshat from what I've read.
