Planning underway for Darvish museum

Ichiro has a museum too. And Hideki Matsui. What US baseball players have museums besides Babe Ruth? Don’t Bob Feller and Yogi Berra have museums?

Ty Cobb has a neat little museum 40 minutes down the road from me in his hometown of Royston, GA.

I thought someone, perhaps in his birthplace of Martinez, CA, had started a Joe DiMaggio Museum and his relatives disowned any part of it. Part of it may have had to do with a boat "Joltin Joe" he had been awarded but ignored and was "rediscovered" in poor condition.

I disapprove of dedicating museums to 26 year old living people. Huge opportunity for egg-on-the-face.

To be fair, the Matsui museum is really just an annex to his pornography library.

I have never been there, but there was a Ted Williams museum in Florida which was expanded and relocated into the Devil Ray's Tropicana Field. It's now about Teddy Ballgame and also his "Hitters Hall of Fame" project. I've read that admission is free if you buy a ticket to a Ray's game.

It can't get any worse than Ichiro Museum... this looks like the stereotypical Asian funeral setup...

no wonder Ichiro reportedly hate his dad (his folks run this museum)
