Mmm.... Microwave popcorn and baseball. I make sure to put my nose above the bag and open it so that I can inhale as much of the hot smell as possible, after all, there is nothing potentially wrong with inhaling hot chemical smoke.

Not that he doesn't deserve credit, but calling Latos "part of that Reds bullpen" is pretty silly.

My rooting interests:

=1st Nationals & Tigers. I'm not going to choose until I'm forced to.
3rd Reds

After that, I dunno. I'll probably work it out as the playoffs develop.

Luddy with a couple of fine defensive plays(although I think the second one was as much a mistake on his part as it was a good play)

Really? Albert Belle reference? Why would you want to run through the second baseman on that play, you stop and make the guy chase you, to hopefully get the batter to first base.

In some respects this thread is making me wish for a Yankee / Cardinal series..... Cardinals are the only team that has faced the Yankees more then once in the post season with a winning record. (actually that should be world series...not sure about post season)

That is the first time all night he has called the low strike. It is hard to be objective when my team is down, but the zone has been maddeningly inconsistent.

he's the typical Jeckyll and Hyde pitcher. Some days he's just not on, this year he has been on most of the time.

Well, it's easy to say now, but I don't see why. Posey isn't an extreme homerun threat (especially compared to Pence), and I'd much much much rather have the tying run at the plate than on base.
