Baseball Primer Newsblog— The Best News Links from the Baseball Newsstand

Nobody’s put together a list for the BTF Wiki, so I thought I’d get the ball rolling with the primates that I know that are on Twitter. Please feel free to add yours - I’m always finding that I’m missing people that I should be following.
Dan Szymborski - @DSzymborski
Shannon Kilpatrick - @ShannonKilpatri

Matt Welch - @mleewelch

Jim Furtado - @jimfurtado
Undoubtedly there are more out there that I don’t know about and I don’t always remember who reads and hangs out on BTF and who doesn’t (complicated by the issue of different handles).
This isn’t really a list of “what baseball guys should I follow” so much as just getting the Primate tweeters in one convenient list.
UPDATE: Please be sure to update your Twitter and Facebook links in your member profiles. The field has been there for a while and hundreds of Primates have already entered the info. Jim

[Mostly running baseball simulations on a daily basis during the season]
(Baseball-Birthdays.com update announcements)
I go in odd patterns: sometimes I write nothing, other times a lot, sometimes a lot but nothing to do with baseball. And sometimes I just shout out nothing but anti-Yankee vitriol. In other words, it's just what I do here, in Twitter form.
Couldn't take the constant pressure any longer.
Don't forget Heyman. She definitely follows Heyman.
6th best feed on Twitter.
Mostly Mets stuff
I maintain that my twizzler account is the greatest of all time.
I did and I know at least one other person did. Not all updated yet, though.
Mostly Halos Heaven stuff. Oh, and Angels comics.
I just use it to follow.
Surf a little, blog a little, surf a little, blog a little,
Tweet - tweet - tweet!
Surf a lot, blog a little more
You're here, ain't you?
Reading this post was the closest I have ever come to signing up for Twitter.
They block it at work (along with just about every other site in the universe) so I don't use it anymore. I've gone old school at work recently. Been using my downtime to write my memoirs. My wife wants to know about what I was like in my twenties and I find it easier to write about myself than talk about myself.
That's really cool. I didn't even know you got married - you should have tweeted it!
My wife doesn't even want to hear about what I was like this afternoon.
Having repressed most of my own 20s, I admire your ability to recall yours :)
That's really cool.
CONCUR.
I still haven't figured out how folks wasted time at work before computers.
Sports Business, Meadowlands Sports Complex news, NJ horse racing, Atlantic City casinos, NY/NJ stadiums and arenas, PSLs and sports ticket prices, links to the related daily "Meadowlands Matters" blog items, and the occasional bon mot - all delivered in about 2 to 8 tweets a day.
Not too much baseball talk though. Although you won't have to deal with my complaining about my fantasy football team for awhile.
No real baseball posts. Mostly Jack Handy-ish stuff.
In Twitter, as in life, it's all about the underscore
Need to use it more for work especially
I don't post much...but maybe you guys can peer-pressure me into increased tweetage.
Except. I now find myself getting followed by assorted teenage girls who, evidently, think my twitter feed is about something else altogether. I honestly never saw that coming, and I can't help but think this won't end well for me.
Anyway, I go through phases where I tweet a lot, then don't tweet for weeks. More about the Cubs than anything else, although you just never know.
Also, this:
Should be getting a lot more attention for being hilarious, although now I have that GOD DAMNED song stuck in my head. So thanks for that.
Just joined Twitter this week.
I don't say much though.
samples from this week:
Nice to see so many people discussing "The Big Ten." In my day this of course was the nickname of L. May Alcott, that Rubenesque delight.
How to X-Mas guide: buy a heavy, collared woolen shirt. Sweat in it for 15 days. Do not wash. You have created an Old Hoss replica jersey!
I once requested an autograph from an opponent. I asked him to write: "To Hoss, the father of my seven children." The fellow was most angry.
The Metro Dome's roof collapsed. Bah! This is nothing. The Grays' Messer Street Grounds was once attacked by a Sea Monster.
@Der Komminsk-sar.
