Rays Use Mets To End Slump

Chris you have my condolances. It’s a sad time for Mets fans.

Ain't that the truth?

The only possible way it could get worse is if Reed/Leiter goes down with an injury. These two are the only bright spot on the team right now, and Leiter already missed a month on the DL.

They can't hit, they can't field, and they can barely pitch. Take away that last little bit, and that's it. Coming from the list of long-suffering Mets fans, I know in my head that the season's over only 2 months in, but my heart tells me that with just a little luck, maybe we can turn things around.

It's not going to happen.
