If it's in the CBA wouldn't it have to be the players? And if so how do we know which players will be affected? This seems like a clause the players union would push for, not the owners.
I guess I should have RTFA. So the players had to agree, even though there will be guys on the Marlins who will be affected who didn't agree. I suppose the Players Association as a group covers their interests.
