Remarks by the President in Welcoming the 2010 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants

And then there’s the guy with the beard. Where’s he? (Laughter.) I do fear it. (Laughter.) Have you guys seen the SportsCenter ad where it’s—ESPN—where it starts doing a dance? (Laughter.)

Now, underneath Brian’s beard, and the spandex tuxedo—(laughter)—and the sea captain costume, and the cleats with his face on them—is also one of the most dominant closers in baseball. (Applause.) And I do think, Brian, you should know that Michelle was very relieved that the press was going to be talking about what somebody else wears here in the White House –(laughter)—so that it’s not just her making a fashion statement.

Well, it probably would have happened anyway, (also, for the record, this was posted by Guapo, not Repoz) and it is certainly fair enough if Joey wants to take lame cheap shots at Obama--it's not like we (meaning me and others, not you) Liberals here don't do that with Palin, W, et al.

But the reason Joey's ass should be called out on it, as SoSH notes, is that Joey has b1tched several times about political threads, how much they suck, how he just wants to talk baseball, etc. To do that and THEN post dumbass, inflammatory crap about Obama deserves some metasnark.

I was wondering how quick one of those knee jerk comments was going to happen. As if any person on the planet regardless of job, is spending 24 hours a day, 7 days a week concentrating on one task. That comment was stupid when people were complaining about Congress and the roid witch hunt, it was stupid when complaining about Bush and any of the myriad time outs he took, and it's still stupid today.

Whatevs dude. The last guy I want getting involved and messin' up the economy is Barack HUSSEIN Obama.
