Report: one dead, one wounded at Kauffman Stadium

Kansas City police are investigating what could be a murder-suicide this afternoon in the parking lot at Kauffman Stadium.

An ambulance took one patient, believed to be a woman, to a hospital. It is believed there is another person who is dead in a vehicle.

The parking lots were closed temporarily as stadium workers began to arrive for tonight’s game, but they are now reopened.

More details will be posted as they become available.

So many tasteless jokes come to mind, but really this is a tragedy.
