Rich Garces needs no reason.

I love the part where they have his appearance sponsored.

The best part of all this? The "ring dings" tag. Now there is a "BBTF ring dings Newsbeat".

I assume this is a test by Furtado to see if tagging begets newsbeats, or something like that.
   6. Fernigal McGunnigle has become a merry hat Posted: September 14, 2012 at 11:08 AM (#4235700)
For a lot of years the Phillies radio broadcasts were (are?) sponsored by Tastykake, whose motto is "Nobody bakes a cake as tasty as a Tastykake". One time Ms. McGunnigle and I were driving back from the beach through eastern North Carolina late at night and I had the Phillies broadcast on. Ms. McGunnigle was half-asleep when the station ran into technical difficulties during the statement of sponsorship, which then became, "Tastykake: Nobody bakes a cake." This struck her as incredibly hilarious and she laughed from Kinston to Zebulon.

This has nothing to do with Ring Dings, but it is directly relevant to Kandy Kakes, Chocolate Kreamers, and Tastykake Swiss Rolls.

I've been in the mood for a Ring Ding for the last hour. Damn you, Jim Furtado!

The team's name is/was Pride? What is their mascot, a lion wearing a Liberace cape?

The Nashua Pride existed from 1998 to 2008. Curtis Pride played for them on two non-consecutive occasions.

When it comes to Rich Garces, there is never enough...of anything.

A question that lingered in my head for years...

If Rich Garces were ever to get an at bat and the ball hit him in the stomach, would it be a HBP or a strike?

Beer and fried chicken - just a continuation of a Red Sox tradition.
