Dodgers got four in the first last night, two of them unearned. Then they were shut out the rest of the way by German Marquez, Antonio Senzatela, Chris Rusin, Pat Neshek and Greg Holland.

And yet still a 10 game lead and with 5 more wins than any other team, even the Indians who may never lose again...

Pity because I wanted to see them challenge the wins record.

This could be an epic collapse if they keep losing and I, for one, wish them the best in such a pursuit

At this point I would be thrilled if the Dodgers made it to 100 wins (assuming the Diamondbacks finish with 99 or fewer)

Part of this is the Dodgers knowing they had the division wrapped up trying to get their roster healthy for the playoffs. A lot of this is injuries (Bellinger, Seager, AGon though he may be finished)

Some of it is that the Granderson and Darvish pickups have thus far been disasters.

I've used that excuse for the 2006 Cardinals to explain why they were better than their record and nobody around here buys that either.
