SABR - Pictorial History Committee Newsletter:

I am not a Pictorial History committee member, but I think they consistently do one of the finest newsletters of and SABR group.

In This Issue
• The Wall at Foist ‘n‘ Toid……. Throwing some bricks at the Great Wall of Brooklyn
• Face Police …………………………………… They’re not all nineteenth century stars
• Train Wreck ……………7-11-11 was not a lucky number
• We Believe? ……………It’s better when we verify
• More Face Police …… Confirmation bias goes to college
• What Are the Chances of Finding Something Like This? …Better than you might think
• Mystery Photos, Next Issue ………………….……………………………………………………………….

The pictures of the train derailment are very interesting, a train that was carrying the St. Louis Cardinals. Fourteen died and 47 were injured in the derailment, but no Cardinals because their car had been shifted towards the end of the train at the prior stop.
