1. Dave Bell Posted: August 26, 2007 at 06:15 AM (#2499906)That's actually a pretty good line.
"I'm just having fun," Bradley said. "They're telling me I'm no good, I'm telling them I am that good. It feels good to come through and help this team win. I'm not trying to entice the crowd."
Did he say "entice" or did the reporter blow the quote?

Ah, Rob Base is back...
Instead we need to focus on getting Flores back from the Expos.
"The Inquirer reporter asked if (insert player being irritating/evil/stupid here) could spell (insert easily spelled word that is somehow connected)
as in:
"The Inquirer reporter asked if Truby could spell Satan-worship"
Since the trade:
Barrett: 231/238/288
Bowen: 185/286/315
Not only has Barrett been outhit by Jason Kendall, but he's been outhit by Rob Bowen
Did he say "entice" or did the reporter blow the quote?
I'm goign to assume he can spell the word, but does Myers actually know the definition?
I love how he sticks the word "even" in there. Beat reporters everywhere will no doubt dig it.
Actually Matt, it's mostly just me, not all Cubs fans.
Not this one. I'm just glad he's no longer a Cubs. Now, if you're saying I was concerned with him when he was still in Chicago, you might have a point. And I was, IMNSHO, completely justified.
That's pretty funny, especially considering that Bowen's continued to hit about as well with the A's as he did with the Cubs.
