lemme see

what would he look like? pedro martinez

or are we ignoring how good the pitcher is and just looking for HOTTTTTTTTTTT

Mike Trout.

Roger Clemens.

He absolutely looked like the kind of guy you’d expect to throw hard, and to be durable. I could not estimate how many scouting reports I’ve read about a guy built like Roger and it’s assumed he’ll have the stamina to pitch deep into games and handle a big workload. Most of the time they get hurt anyway. Plenty of pitchers do not look the part and prove to be durable. Roger looked the part and was the real deal.

Tom Seaver.

Roger Clemens.

I was thinking young Clayton Kershaw, for a lot of similar reasons. Huge dude, big butt, long arms. Also, unlike Roger, left-handed, which I think is something I'd want from my ideal pitcher. In the end he may prove to be more human on the injury front, long-term, but Roger had some injury problems right around the same age and came back. How much that may or may not have to do with steroids is up to the observer, I suppose.

Pedro isn't HOTTTTTTTTTT, bbc?

Anyway, you stole my answer. Seaver is also a good answer on both style and performance, Gooden is a good answer on style and early performance ... as I understand it from ladies of the time, Jim Palmer might have the highest combined style/performance/HOTTTTTTTT score.

Alas, probably not Bartolo Colon.

There was an episode of The Twilight Zone about this (it was on MeTV last night - feel free to judge my late-night television-watching choices). Guy built a robot who was a perfect pitcher, but then the league discovered he had no heart, so were going to kick him out. So, the inventor gave him a heart, but then he had too much compassion to strike guys out and stunk.

The answer to the question above is, he looked like this.

They're not as good as mine. Last night I was watching TNG and a bit of DS9 on H&I, which is right next to MeTV on my dial.

My answer is: Bryce Harper. Great arm, plenny heart, probably more durable around the mound than slamming at full speed into the outfield wall or diving for fly balls.

Madison Bumgarner. Passed him once in downtown SF and he's built like a damn brick wall. Tall, thick, long arms, and maybe the widest shoulders I've ever seen on another person. I have bad eyesight and saw him from half a block away and was like "holy #### that guy is huge" then got closer and figured out who it was.
   10. What did Billy Ripken have against ElRoy Face? Posted: November 09, 2018 at 12:20 AM (#5784727)
I guess the answer isn't "Mark Prior" anymore.

why do people think a pitcher has to look like clemens/bumgarner to be any good?

i personally just LUUUVVVV pedro, who is HOTTTTT because of his personality. if he called me little mami, i'd just melt

Don't care what he looks like, just attach Nolan Ryan's arm and he will be OK.
